Wireframing & Prototyping
Every digital platform needs to be designed. We create prototypes and wireframes through various fidelity levels to ensure we are delivering the best possible platform for you that respects your customers and gives them the experience they want.
Wireframing & Prototyping FAQs
We design every platform from the ground-up. This involves sketching concepts, reviewing the designs and refining them through our prototype fidelity levels.
We start with Low Fidelity Prototypes (LFPs), these are sketch concepts of the platform interface, this may be your website or native app. The goal of an LFP is to focus on structure, flow, and functionality. We make sure we are meeting the needs of the user. These designs are internally reviewed and refined before progressing on to the next stage.
The next stage is Medium Fidelity Prototypes (MFPs). This stage is all about digitally recreating the approved LFP design. We create a digital wireframe of the platform avoiding colour and styling, instead focusing on what features will go where and how a user can navigate from one page to the next. These designs are reviewed with you and you will give final approval before moving on to the final fidelity level.
High Fidelity Prototypes (HFPs) are the final prototype stage. By this point we have agreed on the flow of the platform and all the requested features from the proposal are included. We’ll add colour and your brand elements into the design, creating a near perfect representation of the platform. The HFP functions almost like the final platform to give you the best impression of what will be built. When you are confident with what we have created, you give us your written approval and we begin building your platform.
Not only do you have the final say on the prototype designs, but we also look to you for design input. Your perspective on your business is vital in order to create a platform that you can be proud of. During the MFP and HFP levels, we will present the designs to you and ask for you feedback. Your comments are needed to help refine the design to the point you can have complete confidence in the final build.
A well designed platform enhances your brand and solidifies your position online with your competitors. Good design does take time but is always worth it. Wireframing and prototyping allows us to review the intended design and address anything that might have been missed or is an opportunity to suggest creative solutions to your customer’s pain points.
We’ve created prototypes for every project we work on. This is something we always do. We retain all wireframes and prototypes in our archive for when we want to add new features to your website post launch.
More About Wireframing & Prototyping
Ideate. Test. Refine. Repeat.
All of your favourite websites would have gone through multiple fidelity levels before reaching the final design you see on your screen. A well-designed website will have recruited prototype testers to review the functionality of the website before releasing it to the public. A badly designed website with broken links or nonsensical design will damage your brand.

Ideation, testing and refining–these are the three components that makeup all design work, especially web design. We create a concept, test it with a small group of people, review their feedback and refine the design–incrementally improving on the design each time.
